(China Daily) Events for the 2nd Golden Panda Awards, which recognize outstanding global contributions in film and TV, are scheduled to kick off in Chengdu, Sichuan province on Sept 12. The event, organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Sichuan provincial government, is held biennially.
